At this time, Thornton lives off grid in Oregon. He's just survived a massive fire which went all the way up to his house but spared it (miraculously!), whilst turning a trailer parked in the drive into a river of moulten aluminium. So the internet connection wasn't great, and I apologise for the phasing; but we discussed many topics of interest to those who know about the light inside.
